Mental Health Therapy

Life can be really hard sometimes. Human beings are social beings. We are not designed to just figure it out all by ourselves. Counseling offers a partnership to help you face the spectrum of challenges in life and step into being fully human.

Therapy can look like many things depending on what you would like to work on. I typically weave together the use of regular talk therapy with art therapy, meditation, IFS (Internal Family Systems), writing and somatic approaches.

I have a wide range of clinical experiences touching on the entire human life cycle, and currently work with clients primarily ranging from ages 10 to 110! I offer individual therapy and group therapy. More information on the groups I offer is below.

Some issues I specialize in are grief, chronic illness, trauma, anxiety, depression, end of life, neurodivergence, spirituality, life transitions, family of origin issues and nervous system regulation.

 Offerings

Individuals, Couples and Family

I offer virtual or in-person counseling at my office in SE Portland. For individual therapy I strive to provide a sanctuary in which a client can express, explore, and grow.

For couples and family counseling, I offer a container in which people can interact and communicate that feels safe and authentic.

My sweet and scruffy dog Anderson comes to many of my sessions- only if he is invited of course. He is part of creating a warm and accepting place to heal.

Art Therapy for Grief Groups

Next group starts in summer 2026

This 6-week, in-person group is for adults who have experienced the death of a significant person and would like to process their grief in a supportive, creative space.

Human beings are designed to grieve in community and art-making can help express grief in a different and sometimes deeper way.

No art experience is necessary to benefit. Please reach out if interested.

Art Therapy for Nervous System Groups

Next group offered Thurs. June 18th-July 23rd

5-6:30pm

Cost is $275 for 6 weeks

This group is for adults who would like to learn more about their own nervous systems and how art-making can help them relieve, recharge and restore in a warm, accepting community.

The group could be helpful for clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or would like to explore how art-making can help with emotional regulation

No art experience is necessary to benefit from this group. Please reach out if interested.

Supervision

As an ATR-BC and LCAT I am qualified to provide supervision for art therapists working towards their ATR credentials, as well as LAT from the state of Oregon.

I feel passionate about the meaningful work art therapists bring to the world and it is an honor to provide support to supervisees.

I would be a good fit for new therapists who work in the field with children, teens, adults, including older adults who are dealing with end of life issues. I have experience working in outpatient community mental health, group homes, day treatment and hospital settings

My intention is to offer supervision that allows for growth and honest reflection while working in the field. Supervision is a place for clinical questions, skill building and a chance to explore your unique professional voice. The supervision I offer is art-based and creative.
